Cancellation and refunds

How to cancel a Garage Master plan and when money comes back. Plans are charged through Dodo Payments; refunds go back the way the payment came.
The free trial
14 days, no card. Nothing is charged, so there is nothing to refund. If you do not pick a plan, new work pauses and your records stay readable.
Cancelling
To cancel, the owner writes to us from the owner's email with the garage's name. We confirm the same working day. The plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for and does not renew. Your records stay readable afterwards, and you can download them.
Monthly plans
If you cancel within 7 days of your first payment and are not satisfied, we refund that payment in full. After that, a month already paid for is not refunded; cancel before the renewal date to stop the next charge.
Yearly plans and Founding 50
If you cancel within 14 days of paying, we refund in full. After 14 days a yearly or Founding 50 payment is not refunded, and the plan runs to the end of its period.
Setup fee
Refunded in full if you cancel before we have started importing your records. Not refunded once the import has been done.
Charged by mistake
A duplicate charge, or a charge after you cancelled, is refunded in full whenever you tell us.
How long a refund takes
We ask Dodo Payments to send the refund within 7 working days of agreeing to it. Your bank may take 5 to 7 working days more to show it. To ask for a refund, write to [to be filled] from the owner's email with the garage's name.
